Blue is a good ole’ working western companion. He is trustworthy, dependable and very intelligent. Speedy and sly with the calves, he seems to be able to predict their next moves. His sliding stops are incredible, and he can turn on a dime around a barrel. Full of endurance, Blue can also travel for miles on end, living on grass and water alone. The one and only thing we have ever seen that has made Blue act up, is a crop, whip or spurs. He is perfectly well behaved and trained, and he knows it - there is absolutely no need for any of those tools. So when you inflict even minor pain, he will start to buck and rear, fighting you until you remove the ‘weapon’.
